European Treasurers' Peer Group 2
Magnus Lind chaired the Treasury Peer Group meeting on the 27th - 28th of October 2010 in London. This is the second of two European Treasurers' Peer Groups (ETPG) that each meet twice a year.
The ETPG members had an exclusive sharing session with the Bank of England (BoE) day one, followed by a full day ETPG-only meeting the second day.

European Treasurers' Peer Group 1
Magnus Lind chaired the Treasury Peer Group meeting on the 27th - 28th of October 2010 in London. This is the first of two European Treasurers' Peer Groups (ETPG) that each meet twice a year.
The ETPG members had a full day ETPG-only meeting day one, followed by an exclusive sharing session with the Bank of England (BoE), the second day.

SAP International Treasury Management Conference 2010 Key Note
During the last day of the SAP International Treasury Management Conference 2010 Magnus Lind has been invited to deliver the key note speech titled "The evolving role of Treasury – latest requirements of internal and external stakeholders."
This third and last day has a 'to be' focus of treasury and Magnus Lind's presentation will cover trends in treasury, and the role of treasury 2010 and beyond, to a large extent based on what the ETPG members are currently dealing with, findings from ETPG surveys and the treasury benchmarking initiative, among others.

Panel Discussion: "What's on a Treasurer's Mind?"
Hosted by the Financial Services Club in London, Magnus Lind will represent the European Treasurers' Peer Group in a panel discussion titled "What's on a Treasurer's Mind?" with other treasurers and members of ACT, HSBC and Bottomline Technologies.
Introduction: Tension between banks and corporate borrowers has abated somewhat but has financing changed for good? With a growing range of firms entering the alternative financing market, can treasury operations become bank agnostic? This evening will discuss everything that is top on the treasurer’s agenda, from external funding issues to internal unlocking of cash and the technologies corporates are using to become bank independent.

On the treasury peer group meeting in Frankfurt on the 21st to 22nd of September 2009 the ETPG members got an exclusive sharing session with the European Central Bank (ECB), followed by a full day ETPG-only meeting the second day.

European Treasurers' Peer Group 2
Another treasury peer group meeting was conducted in Paris on 20 November 2008 for European Treasurers' Peer Group 2.
It focused on drawing experience from the then recent turmoil and drew conclusions of what the impact of treasury would be and how treasury's role will change going forward.
Following this meeting a preliminary Treasury Benchmark analysis will be conducted.

AFP Annual Conference: Achieving Treasury Excellence
With a presentation titled “Achieving Treasury Excellence”,
Stacy Calomino from First Data and Magnus Lind from NFS spoke at the
AFP Annual Conference.
The Treasury Excellence framework was introduced and how it can be used for describing, measuring, improving and benchmarking treasury operations, using a case study of a recently completed
treasury consolidation project.

European Treasurers' Peer Group 1
The tenth meeting (since its start 2004) of the European Treasurers' Peer Group 1 (ETPG1) was held in Nice, France, 23 Sep.
The topics were Credit Risk Management - Investments and Customer Risk, and Cash Flow Forecasting medium to long term.
The Treasury Benchmarking initiative was also soft launched in this closed community and all ETPG1 members have entered their treasury data, KPIs and methodologies into the platform's
survey. The Treasury Benchmark concept will soon be opened up for non-peer members allowing other corporate treasuries to anonymously benchmark their treasury against best practice.
